Although the British took down the entire wall that surrounded Fort, they have forgotten to tear down one gate, the Delft gate, one of the eight bastions of the wall. It is now surrounded by big modern buildings and a part of the reception area of the Commercial Bank in Queen Street who financed the restoration of this gate; you can’t see it from the street side, so you should ask the security of the bank. Once the gate lead to the Koningstraat (currently Main Street), but now it leads to nowhere. However it’s fascinating to see this piece of history as a part of a bank building.
